Air filter in 02 passet,how do i change it?

this filter is buried and i want to upgrade to a k%26amp;n,but im not sure if i have to go underneath to get to it. need some advice.Air filter in 02 passet,how do i change it?I'd recommend buying the Hayne's Repair manual for your car, I always get them for my cars.



The air filter is usually pretty accessible, and lots of VW owners make modifications. There are a gazillion VW Owner's groups on the web! I'd start with http://www.vwvortex.com/ and also look for VW clubs or events in your area.
