How to change 1992 chevy 3.1 engine ingition coil?

new wires new plugs.new air filter.oil change. still has a miss .computer check shows no problem. failed deq HC 2672 should be 220.How to change 1992 chevy 3.1 engine ingition coil?I've had many cars with that same engine and at least a couple of them started missing and i replaced the ignition control module with the 3 coil packs on top of it. it fixed them both. i think its a common problem with those that the coil packs go out. one of the cars ran a couple of years then the junkyard coil i put in needed to be replaced again. it is very easy to change. i had cavaliers and they were located on the front of the engine just below the exhaust by the starter. its just a few bolts and a few connectors.How to change 1992 chevy 3.1 engine ingition coil?I had a similar problem with my exgirlfriends car, it was a 1991 3.1 same same, it turned out after I replaced coils module crank sensor, computer, 1000.00 later we ran a resistance test on the injector wiring, I had a crack in the upper electomagnet in one injector, it would run fine, then once warmed up it would miss, eventuaLLY IT GIT SO BAD, THAT IT WOULD SHOT OUT AND DRAIN all the juice from the rest of the injectors, and quit running till it cooled, I replaced all 6 injectors with used injectors @3.95 ea, walla she runs greatHow to change 1992 chevy 3.1 engine ingition coil?Try fuel filter, the coil is on the distrubuter it self. If it is not, depending on the ignition system, just follow the middle wire on the distributer cap and that should take you to it. Also try the ignition module, its a black plastic chip sitting on the distributer.
