Does anybody know how to remove the engine cover in a 2008 VW eos? I need to change the air filter.?

The instructions from vwvortex.com have not been helpful.Does anybody know how to remove the engine cover in a 2008 VW eos? I need to change the air filter.?When you look at the cover itself, there should be about 4 holes in the cover. Inside those holes are either bolts or screws holding the cover down. Take those out, and the cover should come off easily.
